Empowering the teacher with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and activating it in the educational process
Abstract
The Fourth Industrial Revolution affected the various aspects of the educational process, including the teacher, and the concept of “Teacher 4.0” (4.0) emerged, which is a concept intended to enable the teacher to bring about change in the learning environment using the practices and techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. On empowering the teacher with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, after identifying the requirements for activating the techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the educational process, and the justifications for the need to enable teachers to do so. The study concluded that the teacher is one of the most important pillars in empowering the Arab child in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the teacher in light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has become a digital catalyst and coordinator, as he is required to manage the social and emotional behavior of the child, and the teacher should be empowered with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and activate it in The educational process, to achieve sustainable development for teachers, allowing them to develop professionally, self-efficacy, and independence to learn in the classroom. Working and confronting problems that hinder its goals, and this is done by providing training programs and opening opportunities for teachers to access technology and know how to use it in a technical way and apply it correctly in the educational environment. Contemporary global trends, and to be in line with the reality and requirements of the Arab society, and to invest the available capabilities while developing them as much as possible.
