The training needs for teaching the developed curriculum of Arabic language in the intermediate stage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from teachers’ perspective
Abstract: The objective of the current research is to identify the training needs which needed to teach the Arabic language curriculum developed in the middle stage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the point of view of the teachers. The researcher used in this research the analytical descriptive method which depends on the study of the phenomenon in reality, describing, analyzing, quantifying, In order to achieve this, the research tool was prepared and consisted of a survey of teachers' views on the training needs needed to teach the developed language curriculum in the intermediate stage, the research sample was selected from the teachers of the Arabic language in the middle stage of Sharurah Najran Governorate, Saudi Arabia in the academic year 1438-1439 AH. The following research tools have been developed: Prepare a survey of teachers' views on the training needs needed to teach the developed language curriculum in the intermediate stage. The results of the study revealed a very high degree of need for all the areas mentioned in the questionnaire. The results did not show differences in the responses of the sample according to the variables (path and experience). However, there are differences in the responses of the sample by gender The results of the research recommended a number of recommendations, including: Review of pre-service preparation programs in light of the specific training needs in the research, planning and implementation of various training programs according to the needs identified in this, and Evaluation of existing training programs.
