The effect of using the "Reading Progress" application on the development of reading fluency in English among secondary school students
Abstract
Abstract: This action research aimed to find out the impact of using the "Reading Progress" application on the development of reading fluency in the English language among secondary school students, 35 female students from the first year of secondary school (common first year) participated in the research experiment, they were divided into two groups: The experimental group (15 students) was applied to the intervention of using the Reading Progress application, and the control group (20 students) did not use the application, and the research tool was an oral test applied to the experimental and control groups before and after the intervention with the experimental group, and the reading fluency of the experimental group students was evaluated to compare its results with the results of the oral test, and the results of the research revealed a positive effect of using the Reading Progress application in developing reading fluency among the experimental group students, and therefore the research recommends the use of the application in the development of reading fluency In English and conduct many researches on different stages of education.
