Abstract

The aim of this study is to shed light on Islamic educational thought, especially at the pedagogical level, so that it can be one of the tributaries used to guide educational action in our present reality. This is because the general observation on most of what is written in this field focuses on what was produced by the West, as if the scholars of this nation during more than fourteen centuries were completely oblivious to the field of education. There is hardly any mention of what our scholars have written, except in the form of a cursory reference or a faint hint.
