The effect of using the six-dimensional strategy (PDEODE) on the academic achievement of sixth-grade female students in Sultanate of Oman
Abstract
This study aimed to study the effect of teaching using the six-dimensional strategy PDEODE on the academic achievement of sixth-grade female students. The quasi-experimental approach with pre/post-test was used for a control group and an experimental group. The study instrument included an achievement test applied to a sample of sixth-grade female students at a School in South Al-Batinah Governorate. The study sample consisted of 51 students divided into a control group of 25 students who studied the usual way, and an experimental group of 26 students who studied using Six-dimensional strategy in the fifth unit "Conductive materials and electrical insulating materials. The results indicated statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.05 between the mean scores of the students of the control and experimental groups in the post-achievement test in favor of the experimental group. In light of these results, recommendations and proposals were presented.
